Thomas Traum, working out of his London-based studio, Traum Inc, creates images, both moving and still, using an explorative digital approach. His process uncovers the unseen and new, and his beliefs are firmly rooted in the strength and purity of an idea. He strives to deliver creative excellence with experience spanning more than 10 years of experimental and commercial collaboration with record labels, magazines, and global fashion brands including Kenzo, Nike, Vitra, The Design Museum, Issey Miyake, Moncler, and Uniqlo.
Leveraging modern technologies to pave the way for novel applications in Art & Design, Thomas and team utilize tools ranging from C++ to fluid simulations and real-time web services.
Traum Inc was recently a part of Creative Review’s Creative Futures program and has facilitated workshops at universities including Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the ECAL in Lausanne. Thomas has exhibited at Eyebeam in NYC, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow, and the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris.
