John Chamberlain is an icon of American art. He made work that was unapologetically experimental, from sculpture to photography, film to poetry. Most well-known for his car crash sculptures, on display everywhere from Dia Beacon to the CHINATI foundation, Chamberlain’s renowned body of work brought Abstract Expressionism into three dimensions.
